Serving our community through youth empowerment and education, we produce and exchange information, providing experience in business and technology.

In 1998 Tiffany's Garden for Children founded CyberTribe. The purpose of CyberTribe is to provide youth with practical computer and business skills to prepare them for their future professional careers. Because of CyberTribe's mission of career technical education, the program was a natural fit with the Humboldt Regional Occupational Program (HROP). In 2004 Tiffanys gifted the CyberTribe program to the HROP, and the Humboldt County Office of Education. Today CyberTribe members get the same great experience with the added benefit of a credentialed education program.

An important component of the program is a teen governance system requiring the members to set policy and hold themselves accountable for the attainment of goals. The CyberTribe youth have also created a training program where veteran members mentor new members. CyberTribe trainings include Photoshop CS3, Flash CS3, HTML, Game Development, Linux, network management, and computer maintenance's and repair.

CyberTribe meets after school Monday-Thursday 3:30-6:30 during the academic school year with a summer program as well. CyberTribe membership is free to anyone between the ages of twelve and twenty. For more information, see our History and Structure section or contact us.
